I've got the Dark Knight here and I'm ready to toss him into the mix. In the aftermath of the Acts, Bats is stomping hard on crime even more than usual to try and head-off any long lasting damage from occurring. He would also be out to bully encourage any heroes or vigilantes to get back into action.
Just not in Gotham.

Well, I wouldn't mind having a thread with you. Either Norman and Bruce Wayne could cross paths due to their status as industrialists and their publicly conflicting views on masked vigilantism. Or we could have the Green Goblin and Batman face off in a good ol' fashion superhero/villain fight.
Honestly, either one would be pretty interesting.

Either one does sound great. Did you have any particular preference or brainstorm toward either idea to set one up? And yeah Bruce used any influence he could to support repealing the acts and would definitely be suspicious of Norman given his history and recent activities, regardless of the pardon and new public persona.
And if he caught sight of the Goblin anywhere, it'd be a given that a fight would follow. I imagine in either scenario Bruce would be on the look out for Osborn to step out of line so he could put him away.
How wide spread is the Goblin Cult thing at this stage? Would it be something that Batman's come across enough to make him want to investigate further or is it still pretty much under wraps?

Yeah, the Cult is definitely widespread enough for Batman to investigate. It's mostly made up of pychopaths and criminals, but Norman does have Goblin Cultists infiltrating many branches of government, the military, and the justice system. I could definitely see Batman stumbling upon it.
I would love to see Batman investigate the Cult. It'd be nice to have Norman forced into a battle of wits with Bruce and it has the potential to be a really great story.

Batman, Harley Quinn... It is a must, I dare say. Batsy and harls are fun! Throw me in a cell or fail at thwarting my play. Either one would be fun for me.

Gobs, I like the idea of getting on the trail of the Cult. Maybe Batman has recently realized that the Cult goes up a little higher than street thugs and has followed the trail to someone a little higher up on the chain? Batman could either come across a meeting between a cult member and Osborn either as himself or in his Goblin persona. Alternatively, Goblin could be aware that something has been moving in on the Cult and goes into slash and burn mode to try and cut off the flow of evidence and runs into Bats?
Or Batman could just rudely wake Norman up in the middle of the night to point out that he's on to him and threaten him to stop.
And Harls! Definitely a must. And I'm sure Arkham has been drab and boring without the Cupid of Crime.

okie dokie, these two should definitely plot, since they both have worked together and against each other. Since Selina walks the fine line of enemy and ally, there will be times where she might decide to show up and help him out or whatnot, or the times where he might see the bad Cat stealing something. Either way, they have a interesting relationship.

Well, it has been missing its bright little blonde to make the drab walls look nicer. Besides, they need something to show off. They ain't got too many pretty ladies in there.

Very true, Selina. And even when she's being bad, she always seems to just happen to get away even if she doesn't always get away with her loot. Batman also tends to trust her a fair bit, if not completely. Plus whether he admits it or not, he always enjoys a good rooftop chase now and then.
And you've got a point Harls, the only other one is pretty much Ivy. Unless Clayface happens to be getting in touch with his feminine side. So should Harley get caught in the act of something less than legal or should we just toss them in mid-chase?

Caught in the act would be nice. She needs some new pretties anyway. And you know how bad security is at the jewelry store in Gotham seem to be. Hehehe

Let's do a little of both, Bats. We can have Batman track down the Cult, meeting with the Green Goblin. Then they can fight for awhile. And, after the fight has ended, Batman can confront Norman in his home during a second thread.

Sounds good. Do you wanna start it or should I?
Same question to you, Harley!

Either way, if they are enemies or allies at the moment, Selina sort of, in a way, idolizes Batman. However, she doesn't agree with his constant do-good ways, but does trust the man more than most people. Plus, being Catwoman, she's bound to flirt with the man in the cape, which should be interesting from time to time.
Plus, they could possibly know each other out of costume too (of course they probably wouldn't know each other's secret identity) since they both are rich (her from more...unlawful ways)

I feel quite odd having Nightcrawler thread so much in Gotham, as it's not a city in the Marvel comics, but it's kind of where I've been having him stay for a while. He likes it there. And even though he's having a ball, I'm sure that Batman wouldn't be too happy to discover that someone has moved in on his territory, mislead or not.
Just an idea, though, if you'd like.
