FRIENDS!
Remy needs some good guys and gals to run with! Seeing as he's the charming, loveable Cajun that he is, it shouldn't be too hard to find others who would get along with him. He needs some good friends, some poker buddies, and friendly rivals. I'd especially like it if we could divide this group of "friends" with those who encourage him to do good, and those who play the "bad influence" and encourage him to steal and raise Hell.
{ Did that full moon force my hand? }
LOVERS!
Remy is, quite literally, a serious lady's man. He knows how to play the game, and he knows how to play it well. Very well. Whether he likes it or not, he has a way of attracting the opposite sex. I'd like to see this translate this into RP with plenty of flirting partners, one-night flings, and potential, more serious, love interests who can throw a wrench in each others' gears. He isn't sure what he wants, from life or from his lovers, and so he has a tendency to drift carelessly between them. He was recently in a serious relationship with his former teammate, Rogue or Anna Marie D'Ancanto, but the two went separate ways some time ago... Only time will tell if that separation will be permanent, however. ;]
{ Or that unmarked hundred grand? }
ENEMIES!
Just as Remy has a way with the ladies, he also has a very distinctive way with seriously pissing people off! Being on the fence between hero and criminal as he is, a reputation of shaky trust precedes him. He needs some enemies on the board: Rivals, an arch-nemesis, vengeful exes, victims of former heists - Anything! Just throw it at me!
{ Please forgive me father }
- Anna Marie d'Ancanto || Rogue -
FORMER LOVER . GOOD FRIEND . IT'S COMPLICATED
FORMER LOVER . GOOD FRIEND . IT'S COMPLICATED
Anna Marie D'Ancanto aka Rogue - Remy's former lover and friend. Despite the disturbance in their romance, Rogue will still always come to bail Remy out of trouble when he needs it. Of course, romantic feelings for Remy LeBeau are near impossible for her to put away entirely. Though she is one of the forces in his life that encourages him to use his talents for good being a former villain herself. Loves him, believes in him, but Remy's own inability to keep himself out of trouble leaves her ready to throttle the cajun too. Then again this very fact leaves Rogue a little over protective of Remy.

- Nathaniel Essex || Mr. Sinister -
FORMER EMPLOYER . BITTER ENEMY
FORMER EMPLOYER . BITTER ENEMY
Though Remy once owed Sinister for taking back control of his growing mutant powers - preventing him from eventually becoming so volatile he would be a danger to his own loved ones - the Cajun believes that debt to be long paid off. At one time, Remy was a part of Sinister's Marauders - a rag-tag team of stray mutants who were bent to the Scientist's will. But after revealing the whereabouts of the secret home of the Morlocks to Sinister, an event which led to the infamous 'Mutant Massacre" and the deaths of innumerable innocents, Remy realized the price of his freedom to be severely steep. Though he left the group immediately after, Gambit still carries a heavy weight from the incident, and blames Sinister for the tragedy.

- Clark Kent || Superman -
FRIEND . ALLY . VOICE OF REASON
FRIEND . ALLY . VOICE OF REASON
The two knew each other briefly during Gambit's run with the X-Men (from one of the inevitable times Superman would work with them). At the very beginning of the affiliation however, they were both unsure about one another other. What with Remy's reputation to switch teams and Clark's position as the epitomy of all things good. But when the Registration Act was instated, Remy was surprised to learn that Supes had gone vigilante. They teamed up for a time, whenever Gambit would pass through Metropolis, and in time: They learned they were more alike than they had originally thought. Now, they are good friends, and Clark often acts as Remy's conscious, while Remy acts as a social coach of sorts to the awkward and unsure Kent. Their friendship remains rocky on certain topics, however, such as Remy's tendency toward crime. While Clark thinks he can change for the better, but the Cajun's not so sure about that.
