Serenity gave a small chuckle. Smart man. Never trust another thief to honestly split the money. But when the alarm went off, she jumped slightly. 'Dammit,' she thought. When The Spot's hand left her shoulder, she acted fast, knowing she probably wouldn't have a chance to read memories for a while. In a matter of seconds, she put the money clips back in the bag, dropped the bag on the floor, stripped off a glove and went to the nearest civilian. The woman jerked back but Serenity held her still with her shadow. She placed her hand on the woman's face and watched memories flash before her eyes. Once Serenity had read all the memories, she sighed happily. The laughter in the back of her mind had stopped. She quickly turned and scooped the money bag back up with her bare hand, not bothering to put her glove back on.
When The Spot appeared by her and grabbed her gloved hand, Serenity hesitated. At least, until she heard faint police sirens. "Ladies first!" she cried before jumping into the portal.

The two entered a world of black on white, just like Dr. Ohnn's costume. They fell a good ten feet into another portal, Jonathan's hand still gripping Serenity. The two popped out into the alleyway The Spot had been in before he entered the bank. Jon made a nice graceful landing, very used to this form of transportation.
Jonathan listened to the sirens in the distance. They were still quite a ways off. He calculated the cars' speed by how much time it took for the volume of their sirens to grow. "I'd saw we have about three minutes at maximum before the cops get here. Should be enough time to divvy the money." He said calmly. "So, shall we...?" He said quickly.

Serenity looked at the strange world as they went through. She'd never seen anything like it. When she went through her portals, all she saw was just darkness and shadows. They fell into another portal and appeared in what looked like an alley way. Serenity thankfully found her feet before she landed, stumbling only a little. She released her hold on The Spot's hand and placed the money bag on the ground, though she did keep one foot on either side of it. No way she was going to let Mr. Spotty there use his spots and run off with it all. She quickly slid her glove back on.
Serenity quickly picked the bag back up and opened it. "Well, when I was grabbing it, I roughly counted about $50,000," she said, though in truth, it was more like $60,000. Doing quick calculations in her head, she said, "So, that leaves you with $20,000 of my stolen cash." The money clips were in groups of $1,000 each, ten 100 dollar bills. Serenity grabbed a couple out and handed them to The Spot. Soon, she given him twenty of the money clips. The sirens were louder and sounded close. Serenity's shadows quickly started forming her own portal. "Well, nice meetin' you, Mister Spots," she said, about to turn into the portal. "Next time, find your own bank to steal from," she grinned.

The Spot was keeping his cool rather nicely, after all there were few people in the world better at a quick getaway than Ohnn. Even so he was mindful of the sirens and the street. His eyes moved to Ripper Shadow as she started talking to him.
"Well, when I was grabbing it, I roughly counted about $50,000." Jon furrowed his brow at those words. ~Which means there was more like sixty or seventy grand.~[/color] He thought to himself. The sirens were getting louder now, and that worried Spot just a bit. ~But, no time to argue.~ The Spot took the cash as she handed it to him. Each bundle went into a spot on his arm, and that spot was designated to send objects to his apartment.
"Well, nice meetin' you, Mister Spots." Again with the annoying nicknames. The girl seemed ready to leave, but Jon still remembered the last part of their deal. "Hold on, Miss Shadow." He said with a nearly indistinguishable grin. "You still owe me a drink."

Serenity stopped at his words. 'Oops. Forgot,' she thought. She turned, her smirk still present. Biting back a sarcastic retort, she said instead, "Tomorrow, eight o' clock. There's a bar two blocks south of here."
The police cars sped past the mouth of the alley. Serenity stepped into her portal. Before she disappeared, she looked over her shoulder and said, "See you there, Spots." With a wink at him, she walked into her shadows.
