People of the Month!

Yep! It's that time! What time? Time for V&V to have an "Of The Month" poll. What are the polls for? Why, to decide Male Character & Female Character of the Month, of course!

At the end of each month we will open a thread for people to nominate characters for the two awards. You may only nominate 1 (one) character per award (no matter how many accounts you have). This nominations thread will be open for 1 week, and then the polls for male & female character OTM will be open for 6 days. On the day following those 13 days we (the staff) will announce the winners, and place their avatars on a sidebar reserved for Characters of the Month. Their pictures will stay there until the next winners have been selected.

Now, you might wonder what all this is for. Well, it's really just for fun, but it's also a way of showing appreciation. You can vote/nominate somebody for any variety of reasons. Maybe because you've read some of their posts and really love how well they portray their character. Perhaps you wanna nominate them because of what they contribute to the plot. Or maybe you just really have fun role playing with them. Whatever the case, show them your appreciation by trying to get them the award of Male or Female Character of the Month.
So, how about we go over the rules of nominating and voting?

1. Every player gets one vote.

2. No character can be self nominated (even if it's on another account).

3. A character cannot have 2 consecutive wins, and thus cannot be nominated after a victory.

For example: If Remy LeBeau was July's Male Character of the Month then Remy LeBeau could not be nominated for August. He could, however, be nominated for September.

4. You may only nominate 1 (one) character per award (no matter how many accounts you have).

5. Don't feel bad if you lose. This is all just for fun.
