I am looking to start some threads, and was curious as to who might be interested. ;]

Seeing as we're starting again from scratch, Gambit's open to all sorts of threads: Action, drama, comedy, what have you. Same goes for all sorts of relationships: Friends, enemies, frenemies, flirtatious, etc.

Just about anything, as stated in my first post. ;]

I have made Remy a bit more on the fence in this version than he was on WAN (where he was mostly hero with a tendency to once in awhile do questionable things.) Here on V&V, I decided to make him a little more questionable.

Do you have any ideas yourself? If not, let me know, and I can commence my usual vomiting of randomized plot devices.

Well, right now Sin is in prison. I'd like to see somebody check up on him...which is to say "make sure his shackles are holding".
But, Spot is always up to some kinda misbehaving when he's not relaxing in a cafe or bar. So... I guess it depends on what you're in the mood for. If you want out of costume we could do something kind of low-pace with Jonathan & Remy. But, if you want in costume we could have Gambit trying to stop Spot from stealing something of great value, or Gambit checkin' on Sinister. Or, maybe you have good ideas.

I'm thinking the most likely of the suggested scenarios would be something-to-do with Jon. Though I can assure you, the closest thin Remy would get to trying to 'stop' someone from stealing something is if he had intent to steal it first... XD;

I'm cool with something low-key too. I could see the two either getting along (and perhaps Jon posing as something of a nasty influence on Remy, encouraging him to commit theft), or they would become rivals.

Of course, maybe a mixture of the two as well.

Any ideas how to exactly start? We know what's generally going on - that she's been looking for him - but how do we want them actually running into each other again?

For some reason, I think a Superman/Gambit, or even a Clark/Remy thread would be highly entertaining. It's kind of like the Superman/Batman dynamic. They're so vastly different, but I think that that would present an unusual friendship. I could see Supes and Gambit teaming up to bring down some sort of drug lord, or Remy using his nonchalant experience to get Clark to loosen up in a social situation. Thoughts?

The saddest part, is the first thing that occurs to me, is Remy playing wing-man for Clark. LOL.

But yes, I agree, there would be some interesting dynamics to play with there, considering how incredibly different they are from one another.... Whether in their 'normal' incarnations or in their superhuman ones.

Any preference on which to go with? Remy/Clark or Gambit/Supes? There's always the possibility of Supes busting Gambit mid-heist of course. ;]

well, since Harley is already taken care of, time for Victoria. I really do like the idea of Vickie looking up to Remy as a of Big Brother. And him being a mentor of sorts for her would be fun.

I do believe I agree, Angel. ;] But how should they first meet? Something needs to establish a bit of a friendship, as well as some respect from Vi to Remy. Maybe she gets herself into some trouble and he winds up bailing her out somehow?

Hmm... well that would work, though the question is, what kind of trouble? Maybe she tries to steal something from the wrong person and gets caught? ... some how?
